Montenidoli was the first winery in San Gimignano to prove that Vernaccia is a great grape, a grape that makes not just interesting whites in a land otherwise renowned for reds, but whites that have enough structure and finesse to age. Since 1965 and under the guidance of Elisabetta, an advocate for organic and sustainable agricultural practices, Montenidoli worked itself up to cult status in the Tuscan isle of whites.
This traditional expression of Vernaccia is a lovely dry and fresh white for sipping or for fish dishes.
