Elena was young when she decided to take over her family's land on the extinct vulcano and become a winemaker. Aglianico has long been the grape of the area, but only recently has it made a name for itself as one of the great wines of sourhern Italy.
Is a dark and intense ruby red with an ample and complex nose with the primary notes being spices, cherry abd blackberry preserves, then rosemary, tobacco and cinnamon with hints of vanilla. Dry on the palate and full bodied with firm tannins and a long finish.
