Alessandro has started a new wave in Bolgheri. He doesn't just see the potential for international varieties in the area, but wants to value the native grapes that exist in the area by safeguarding and bringing back an old vineyard.
The production is small but the passion is big, for producing unique super-high quality wines.
For a small production of less than 1500 bottles, Alessandro picks the best fruit of Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash of local Pugnitello. A long maceration ensues after which the wine matures for 1 year in amphora and another year in oak. A well-structured wine for long ageing.
