"Grappoli del Grillo" Sicilia DOC 2018, Marco De Bartoli
€28.00Price
Winery:
Marco de Bartoli is a cult winery in the area of Marsala in western Sicily, in particular for the ressurrection of the Grillo grape, and for high quality Marsala wines. The winery also has vineyards in Pantelleria where the famous Passito is made of Zibibbo grapes (Moscatto d'Alessandria).
The Wine:
his white is the top expression of Grillo by Marco de Bartoli, the first to believe in Grillo as a single grape variety wine in western Sicily. The wine is made fermented with its native yeasts and then left to age on the lees in big oak casks for around 1 year. Intense fruity aromas, elegant, with a pleasant bitter persistant aftertaste.
