Corzano & Paterno is the name of this winery in the outskirts of Florence, right in the Chianti Colli Fiorentini region. The name is composed of the two hills of the property where vineyards and olive trees grow along with sheep grazing underneath them. The farm is completely organic and run by the family who are always on the quest of producing high quality and delicious products that reflect their territory.
It used to be Corzano e Paterno’s “Chianti Riserva”, but as of 2015 the family has chosen to bottle it simply as "I Tre Borri", an IGT wine free from the rules of Chianti. The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese, the best selection of grapes, and aged in Tonneaux barrels for almost two years which gives a deep, complex wine with lots of ripe fruit and hints of Mediterreanean herbs.
