Siro Pacenti is a passionate winemaker on the northern side of Montalcino. Soon after he started making wine, one could say he struck gold - his wines have always been considered among some of the finest of Montalcino.
Made from 100% Sangiovese like all Brunello wines must. The elegance of the mouthfeel is due to the miticulous selection of ripe grapes and the long ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels. The is complex with flavors of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and some tirtiary truffle flavors. Brunellos are usually best around 10-15 yrs of age so this is coming into its prime time!
